Our A/C unit was not working, we had the home warranty company send someone out we got charged $75 for the service call, they gave us an estimate of $1000 to repair and stated it wasn't covered under the warranty. Robert came out for a free estimate, fixed the unit on the spot in about 20 minutes and gave us a very fair deal!!! I could not be more happy with the excellent service from making the appointment, him showing up on time, very friendly and knowledgeable, showed me exactly what was wrong, made sure I understood, and showed me how he fixed it. Working on a Carrier furnace. Found the condensate trap was plugged up. Removed the trap and flushed with water, reinstalled the trap then started and tested furnace
Working on a day and night rooftop package unit that's not heating in the rain I found someone had cut a hole in the top of it to install the wrong kind of fan motor that allowed water into the unit and on to the control board
Working on a carrier furnace that was not lighting I found that had a faulty 3 wire pilot switch I replaced it with a new part after getting approval from home owner and ran it through three Cycles

tested air conditioner and Heating could not locate any problems with new thermostat this house does have an air cycler system so that it pulls outdoor air in order to pump it into the house I do not know what the parameters or settings are for that controller at this time unit is pulling unfiltered outdoor air everytime it comes on and also has no filter in your return in the master bedroom. blower wheel and housing are very dirty system could use a thorough cleaning
found Payne air conditioner was not running the made in China Dual capacitor has gone bad and the condenser fan motor has also gone bad the windings are open on it and the housing is cool but you can see where it has got extremely hot and has completely melted the label on the side of the motor
found no power to the thermostats went into attic and found main fuse was blown for the furnace replaced it with a new fuse started and tested amperage draw of blower motor was within limits and old fuse was tight could not locate any causes other than the fuse had gotten hot
started and tested Carrier Air Conditioner found compressor side of the made in Mexico duel capacitor had failed and the fan side was reading @ 2.7 when it should be 5 I replaced it with a new American-made part that has 5 year warranty after getting approval from the homeowner started in tested amperage draws and refrigerant was good I also checked the second system but found no issues with it Both systems are running correctly at this time
found indoor capacitor only reading 1.7 and was rated at 10 I replaced it with a new American made part started and tested motor was running with in Factory amps and then performed the semi annual fall maintenance on the heater washed the air filter check the ohms of the hot surface ignitor check the flame sensor and then started and tested Heat no issues noted with any other items
working on a Carrier Air Conditioner that was not running found made in Mexico dual capacitor has failed I replaced it with the new American made capacitor that has the 5-year full warranty on it after getting approval from the homeowner started and tested AC no other issues noted at this time of the operation of AC
found oil leaking out of the control panel of the Payne unit opened Panel and found the made in Mexico dual capacitor has blown completely apart I removed it and installed a new made in America part in order to test the system it does run correctly but will need the new capacitor installed after getting approval from home owner I installed the part permanently there were no other issues noted with this unit the amp draws of the motor and compressor along with refrigerant charge is good
